Keep Britain Tidy are joining forces with drinks giant Coca Cola to help with litter prevention in the UK, Coca Cola GB will become a partner for next year's 2018 Great British Spring Clean.  With the drinks brands help they aim to get half a million volunteers involved in clean up streets, beaches and parks.

Steinbach in Canada is one of the 8 fastest growing cities in Canada, popular with people who emigrate it has been hailed the most litter free city in the region, this could be down to an annual litter audit that is conducted by the Canadian Beverage Container Recycling Association.  Since the start of the audit empty drinks container being littered has dropped by 69%.

Targeting the 'Tidy Litterers'

The behaviour change charity Hubbub have launched a new campaign which aims to reduce the amount of litter which ends up in the UK's waterways system, 'For Fish's Sake' launched last week and targets people who leave litter on walls, down drains or next to bins, believing they aren't littering because they haven't thrown the litter on the ground.

Keep Wales Tidy is a charity which works throughout Wales to help protect the environment, they deliver campaigns environmental education and training across Wales.  Established in the 1950s the focus was restoring the pride in the UK after the way but it wasnt until 1972 when they were launched and became an independent charity in 2005.

Designing a Litter Free Future

Stagecoach and Keep Britain Tidy teamed up to run a competition for schools for their children to design an anti-litter message and help campaign to keep britain litter free.  They had 150 pupils enter so they chose 2 winners, each winner will have their design on one side of the bus.
