Delivery Policy

How long do I have to wait for my recycling bins to be dispatched?
We try to process and dispatch all orders within 24 hours of receiving the order, products will be dispatched next working day on warehouse items if we receive the order before 3pm, orders after this will be delivered within 1-2 working days.  Other items which we do not stock vary in delivery times, please see the banner on the item page for the delivery lead times.  In some cases, products are made to order and may exceed the lead time stated, if anytime this happens we will be in touch to explain the situation.  We use the courier TNT for delivery of smaller items and Palletline for anything pallet sized or bigger, these pallet deliveries take an average of 2-3 working days.  If you need the recycling bins for a particular date then please get in touch and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Can you give me an estimated time for delivery?
No, the delivery window is from 8am to 5pm, using the courier TNT

Do you offer a next day delivery service?
All of our items dispatched from out warehouse will be sent out next day delivery, larger quantites of goods which require delivery on a pallet can take up to 3 working days, an upgraded service is available at an extra charge, please contact us for more details

Can you deliver at weekends?
Providing the goods are in stock we can deliver at weekends (on a Saturday) but this is quite an expensive option. The surcharge for this service is £20 per order and we would need to receive the order before midday on the Friday.

If I order on the weekend or a Bank Holiday can I receive my order the next day?
Unfortunately not. If you ordered on bank holiday Monday, the items will not be packed until Tuesday and would be out for delivery on the Wednesday.  

Can you deliver to offshore areas?
We can indeed but the delivery costs do go up substantially outside of mainland UK. The best thing to do is to give us a call or contact us by email and tell us what you would like to order and where you would like it to be delivered so we can give a more accurate quote. We will only ever charge you the actual cost price from the courier.

Can LitterBins deliver my order to an address different to my billing?
Yes, this is not an issue, this happens quite regularly, when you go through to the checkout there will be an option for billing address which underneath has a tick-box which is ticked as standard saying "delivery to my billing address".  If you until the box it will let you enter a different address.

Can LitterBins deliver to my home?
We can deliver to your home address or any other address for that matter. When you check out just choose your billing and delivery address. If you would like the bin left in a safe place or any instructions just put this in the comments box on the checkout page.

My delivery has got damaged - what should I do?
If you notice the box is damaged then straight away mark the box as "unchecked" or "damaged box" so we have recourse with the courier. If you have taken the bin in and only found damage once you have opened the box then please email or call us as soon as possible so we can get a replacement out to you. To save any lengthy delays we will typically ask for a picture of the damaged recycling bin. This enables us to get a replacement sent out before the other goods are returned back.

Are there any delivery restrictions?
We can deliver to almost anywhere in the world but our free delivery only covers the UK Mainland. If you would like delivery outside of this area then please call or email sales@litterbins.co.uk for a quote.
